Anchor Point is a legendary right hand point break in southern Morocco, often packed to the gills in recent years with eager surfers. As it sometimes goes on surf trips it only broke really well while I was in the area once or twice. I was lucky enough to get a few great shots on those days, and this is my favorite. Big hugs of course refers to the surfer’s arm positioning on the wave, but also a fun little nod to the highly competitive atmosphere of this break.
This giclée fine art print is printed using water based, archival inks on acid free, heavyweight (200gsm), museum quality, matte paper from sustainable sources.
The print is available unframed or framed with three frame finish options, Black, White and Natural. All of the frames are hand-stained solid ash with a 20mm (~3/4”) front profile and 30mm (1 3/16”) side profile (depth). The frame also uses anti-reflective moth-eye acrylic glaze that eliminates glare, ensuring every tonal detail and subtle contrast is visible even in direct lighting.
