Josi Friedrich, a New York University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Photography Theory, is a coastal landscape and surf photographer. Growing up between the east end of Long Island and New York City she was always around the water. Her portfolio consists of both black and white and color photography, with a soft yet documentary-style approach. Josi's work captures the fluidity of movement while maintaining a sense of tranquility. In the last 4 years, she’s traveled to shoot bodies of work in Portugal, the Canary Islands and Morocco, but always come back to shoot the beaches of the east end.
