“Bending into the Bay” Surf Photography Print. Imsouane, Morocco 2022.

from $48.00

“Bending into the Bay”. Imsouane, Morocco 2022. Giclée print on Fine Art Matte Paper.

A surfer can be seen on a wave as it bends into Imsouane Bay in Morocco, home to one of the longest rights in the world. This photo captures the process of refraction. Because waves slow down as they move from deep water to shallower water near the shore, the part that hits shallow water first slows down, causing the wave to bend or "refract."

This giclée fine art print is printed using water based, archival inks on acid free, heavyweight (200gsm), museum quality, matte paper from sustainable sources.

The print is available unframed or framed with three frame finish options, Black, White and Natural. All of the frames are hand-stained solid ash with a 20mm (~3/4”) front profile and 30mm (1 3/16”) side profile (depth). The frame also uses anti-reflective moth-eye acrylic glaze that eliminates glare, ensuring every tonal detail and subtle contrast is visible even in direct lighting.

All prints are printed full bleed and are framed without a mat or a border. (If you’d like a mat, border, or a different size shoot me a message! Note which photo you want and click on over to the contact tab at the top.) Packaging is plastic free and made from recycled materials wherever possible.
