Aicha Kandicha is female mythological figure in Moroccan folklore often associated with water. Though descriptions of her differ throughout the region, in Tangier it is said that she lives by the ocean. This photo, taken at Anchor Point in Morocco during a picture perfect January swell, this surfer was one of only a few out, epitomizing grace on this world famous wave.
This giclée fine art print is printed using water based, archival inks on acid free, heavyweight (200gsm), museum quality, matte paper from sustainable sources.
The print is available unframed or framed with three frame finish options, Black, White and Natural. All of the frames are hand-stained solid ash with a 20mm (~3/4”) front profile and 30mm (1 3/16”) side profile (depth). The frame also uses anti-reflective moth-eye acrylic glaze that eliminates glare, ensuring every tonal detail and subtle contrast is visible even in direct lighting.
