This series, “Polychromatic Water Vapor” began in 2020. After moving back out to the East End from New York City during Covid, I was reconnecting not only with nature but also my photography practice. I, like many people, found solace in nature, noticing the “glimmers” in life and in the world around us. 

Finding interest in the natural cloud forms I added colors digitally and found that the warm pinks, yellows, and oranges I was creating was like hallucinating sunsets, helpful in the dark winter months when I was stuck at my desk. Imagining color into these day to day views only helped in enhancing ways to find joy in an increasingly difficult and challenging world. Which is what I hope this pieces bring to you, a little glimmer of joy, hope, whimsy, a smile.
